Annoying clicking noise under driver seat
Has anyone had any issues with noise coming from Driver seat? Clicking noises. It isn't constant, and occurs when making turns on smooth roads, or going over some slightly bumpy roads. Took it into service and they replaced some bearings under the seat. Noise is back within a week, and about to schedule another appointment.

Have had a similar noise develop recently in our W166 2012 ML350BT. It is not consistent, ie going over bump, starting from stop, reversing but can only hear at low speed periodically. I have tried to duplicate by bouncing on vehicle when parked to move suspension and the noise does not occur. It is like a 'switching' clicking noise. Next service is coming up so I will have it checked.

Mine does it but it feels like it's something in the back of the seat. It happens more when I adjust my seating position. It feels like some plate in the seat back moves with me. I haven't worried that much about mine.

I had that issue, brought it into the dealer and they fixed it by lubricating some part underneath the seat but now it is coming back and will take it in again soon..

I had something similar on my X166 GL550, it started out as odd clicking over bumps and then it turned into a horrible creaking noise. Anyway, after trouble-shooting it, I found that the carrier wasn't greased and after applying some Krytox space-grade oil to each of the end-joints the noise completely went away and hasn't returned.

This is no help but I noticed about a month ago that mine seems to be getting worse too. It still happens if I move around in the seat or like someone else said, under hard acceleration. I need to schedule a service soon and I'll ask them to look it.

Just to share with forum, my 2016 gle350 has this issue since I got it. There is a rattle sound when I go over speed bump at parking garage. And now it become a squeaking noise when I step on gas after traffic light. I took it to dealer several time, it always disappear when a technician ride with me. It would be great if you guys have any picture on where to lube.
There is another thread could be your fix.
