2014 Lexus GS, 2016 GLE450 on order
Four days in with my GLE450 coupe
Finally took delivery of my new GLE coupe in black, crystal grey interior, 22" wheel with active curve. I must say, this car looks far more aggressive in person that pictures would have you believe, especially the front. Happy with my interior choice because it adds a luxurious feel to a very sporty car.
I do have a few negatives about the car though. Being that your head is close to the sunroof, the canvas material gets very hot and my solution to not making my head feel hot is to point the A/C vent towards the top of my head. Secondly, I live in Brooklyn, NY and some roadways are just horrible. I find that the car (could be because of 22" wheels) drive hard and sloppy over these roads to where it feels like the rear wheels are slipping.
Sport mode is fun in the car, but if you're in stop and go traffic it will be very jerky. I haven't yet become accustomed to the engine off feature. Few times I thought the car actually shut off and I hit the engine start button and turned the car off.
Overall I still like it.

Just picked up my GLE450 on Wednesday. It is also black. I waited since March for the vehicle to be built.
I waxed it today and noticed something very odd. The car is black, but the door handles (painted part) are obsidian black with the metallic. I'm wondering if yours is the same or did the factory screw up and put the wrong color door handles. I will be calling the dealership tomorrow and ask the question.
Loving the coupe, but doesn't have quite the get up and go of the C450 I traded. Brakes aren't as good either...probably the weight of the vehicle. I do like it more though....
