I've had a few electrical gremlins since new - that is one of them. MB service is still trying to figure all the gremlins out. Remember, this is the first generation of this GLE 550e plug-in Hybrid...

When I first got the car new, Max charge would read 17 Electric miles. They reset something at a service a few months back and now a Max charge is 19 Electric miles.

I hear that by 2022, MB will offer an electric only option on all models. That is something that is very hard to believe seeing the current state of their electric offerings - and I am all for an electric offering.

Glad to hear that your MB service is working on figuring out those gremlins. My MB service is denying that there is a gremlin at all. I think they just don't know how to fix it.
My car went from using 9 or 10 miles of electric on my way to work to using 0 miles of electric. Not always - sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
Please advise if your people are able to figure it out.

I almost purchased a 550e and still want an electric drive car. I think I would prefer the GLC SUV in an electric hybrid. I can see all those offerings coming one day.

It sounds like a lot of effort to get poorer mileage than the diesel engine. They must be using this as a real world test bed to see what works best - thinking charitably.
