I currently have a 2016 GLE450 amg coupe, it has great power but I would like more. I was thinking about the Renntech ECU upgrade. Does anyone have a dyno chart comparing the gains to the stock dyno chart? Renntech claims: 402 hp @ 5,300 RPM; 454 lb-ft @ 3,200 RPM. But the stock specs are: 362 hp @ 5,500-6,000 RPM; 384 lb-ft @ 1,800-4,000 RPM. My biggest concern is that in stock form 100% of the torque is available at 1800 rpms and according to Renntech the ECU upgrade will have peak torque at 3200rpms. So will I lose all that torque down low at 1800rpms?

You will have no regrets...I am on my second amg tune with Renntech and have had no issues or second thoughts

I pretty sure I know the answer to this, but doing this tune, even though it's just and ECU tune, voids the warranty right?

Also, what is the cost of this tune?

My dealer is actually an authorized renntech dealer/installer.....no void of warranty....this subject has been beat to death. The cost for mine was a little over 3k.

I completely understand. I have a tune in my Vette and my 2015 Ford F150 Ecoboost. Both I tuned within 6 months. Used reputable tunes for both. Ford dealership knows, Vette no longer matters as it's out of warranty. However, this is my 1st MB and a very high $ auto. Didn't know how most MB dealers felt about this. But since yours is an authorized renntech dealer, you're covered either way and that's a definite +! I will most likely wait a while if I do this, but was curious about the cost.
