2017 Color and option ordering advice
I'm currently considering ordering either a 2017 GLE 350 4MATIC or GLE 400 4MATIC, since I just can't find anything currently at dealers that suit me and usually the ones they end up ordering have other options that i don't really want (they tend to "pack" them) . I'm looking for some advice.
Now, this of course is very personal preference but what I think I'd like is either of these exteriors: Black metallic, Iridium Silver Metallic, or Diamond Silver Metallic, with a crystal gray/black leather interior. I possibly may go for a Black metallic with a black leather interior. "Leather" is the operative word here. I have never seen ANY Of these combinations in person at any dealer and I'm sort of wondering why. Has anyone seen any of these combinations or have one of these combinations and what do you think of them? Do they look good, or do they not look good and that is why no dealers get them. For some reason, dealers may have these exteriors but with usually not with the interior I want.
Also, what exterior highlights/accessories can you recommend? I saw one the other day that had some chrome highlights on the sides and some fancier wheels, and I'm not sure what package this is. Does anyone know? I'm not even sure if this was a 2016 or 2017.
Are there any options that you think are "must-haves"? Yes, they are shown on the website but I'd like real-world opinions.

When I ordered my GLE I went with the Lunar blue/canvasite blue in Europe/ metallic, black leather and piano black accents. I chose his color, becaue in my opinion it is the only one looking good without the AMG/sport exterior pack. This pack costs abput 5000$ in my country and for me makes no sence spending this money only for the different bumpers and 20" wheels. I ordered also 20", but different design. For me a must-have is the eather seats, ventilated/heated if the color is black, navi, park-tronic, rear view camera, air suspension, blank spot indication/the mirrors are small/, LED adaptive lights. About the running boards there are a lot of discussions here, I personally think they make the car much nicer. This is the blue -look I like, light colors are ok with the AMG dumpers and night-pack

The 2017 GLE 400 is dead so you wont be able to order one. MBZ has started building the Mercedes-AMG GLE 43. See this thread:

Except now they have Brilliant Blue Metallic as a new color for 2017 and that looks great with the Night Package and AMG Wheels. I did custom order and received my GLE350 two weeks ago
