Weird Problem with the 2016 GLE 250d... Keeps getting reset back to factory settings
Hi,
Im Rohan from India and I just took delivery of a Cavensite Blue 2016 GLE 250d variant.
The vehicle handles briliantly well.
I have been having a weird problem though....
The internal clock, the audio settings and equalizer settings for the music system (in fact i believe the whole system) gets reset back to factory settings when I exit the car and arm the remote lock.
this does not happen for at least 5 to 10 minutes, but leaving the vehicle in the locked position for more than that period of time somehow resets the entire settings.
its frustrating to come back and set all the settings back again only to have it happen again and again.
ive sent the vehicle back to the dealer at least 3 times and even they cant figure it out.
tearing my hair out.
anyone faced a similar situation????
I thought (foolishly) it could be a simple cmos battery which had drained out from the motherboard.

3 visits to the dealer and still no progress. Apparently the head of technical support is going to be in town in the first week of 17 so there is a ray of light at the end of the tunnel.

Range/Consumption setting keeps resetting
Hi
I have a 2016 GLE 350d and when I select the Range/Consumption setting, after at the end of the drive turn the car off re/start the car after 30 minutes or so it will go back to the odometer/ tripodometer, is you GLE doing the same or is it just my GLE, I was at the dealer multiple time they done some software update to fix other issues, at this time they do not know if it supposed to stay what you select or reset to default setting.
