Speed limit "minder"...
We are finding new things everyday that we didn't know that it did, and that's always fun and exciting.
However, there is one "feature" that I thought that we had that I cannot seem to find anywhere. I don't know what the feature is called in MB speak, but it's a feature that displays a warning in the dash when you're going over the posted speed limit. I could have sworn that I read that in some MB literature somewhere, as part of some option that I knew that we were getting.
IF this feature does exist, I have yet to figure out how to make it work, or how to make it display in the console.
Was I dreaming, or does such a thing exist???
One is Speed Limit Assist:
The second is Speed Alert. See video attached.
How do I know these things when I haven't even received my car yet? I've had three months to study the owner's manual and devour every bit on info I can find online.

I don't believe that I have an option called Speed Limit Assist in the settings panel, but I'll check again.
LOL! I hear ya! That's how I knew all of this stuff before ours landed at the dealership as well!! We actually looked at an E-class at a different dealership, and I think that I knew more about that car than the salesmen did, or at least what the car was capable of doing...

Just noticed it's part of the Premium 3 Package. If you don't have this package, you don't have this feature.

However, I'm not totally for sure what "features" we all have.
At the end of the day, more beeping might be a bad thing anyway. I still haven't figured out what all of the beeps are that it's making at me!!!
BTW.I was a little disappointed the the GLE 43 coupe doesn't offer a Heads up windshield display.
Check the video at the 1:16 point. I'm not sure what country this is, but it's pretty safe to assume it's not the U.S. I test drove a BMW X6 with the heads up display. It works great.....AS LONG AS YOU'RE NOT WEARING POLARIZED GLASSES. Being that I ALWAYS wear prescription polarized sunglasses whenever I drive, this wouldn't work for me. You can still read the display, but the brightness is reduced by about 50%. It makes a huge difference.
