Please help me decide: '15 ML400 v '16 GLE350
Due to a self-imposed limit on how much I would want to spend, I'm looking at a CPO '15 ML400 v '16 GLE350. The '16 GLE400 is still significantly more. As much as I like the changes from '15 to '16, I really like the extra performance in tthe -400. Have any of you owned both the late generation ML and the GLE? How significant are the differences in day-to-day operations? The last ML that I spent any time with was 15 years ago in a '99 ML320, so I don't have the experience that all you have. I'd like to keep this car for at least 10 years.

And remember not all GLEs had apple carplay when they were first built. They have to have a build date after somewhere around Feb 1, 2016.

I purchased an 2015 ML few months back.
Drove a GLE this week and feels like an entirely different ride again (Picking up later next week)
Theres some subtle plus things in the ML(like bigger seats) but the ride is that much nicer again on the GLE. None of these cars I would own without warranty! (Factory or ELW)
I drove the 9 speed 350 diesel(6 Cyl) and like it!
Carplay CAN be added, but if not installed...don't expect a free upgrade coming from MB, negotiate it as part of deal if you have a Pre feb 2016 build that you like.
Consider ELW, I paid around $1500US for it on the ML but got it back on the GLE deal. specially if you're hanging on for 10 years!
Either car is very nice, but due to so many options avail now research packages.(Sports/Premium/IDP ext)
