21" or 22" Wheels?
Can someone comment on their experience with 21" or 22" wheels?
I don't want to run GLE63 aggressive and I think the stock wheels are 21x10 +53 offset right?
I saw a lot of the aftermarket wheels that are running 21x10 but +40 which I think is too low of an offset - it's going to stick out too much.
Ideally I'm looking for a 21x9.0 +53 offset to run 275/35/21 square or maybe a 22x9.0 +53 with a 285/35/22 square.
Any thoughts on 22" being too aggressive for the chassis? What is everyone running?
Thanks

the fronts.
It doesn't bother me either, but it might bother others.
I do know that the 22's stick to the road like glue...
ON EDIT: I've been really surprised that these don't ride like a rock either. They are very comfortable, in comfort mode of course.

We have 22's on our GLE43 Coupe. I just noticed for the first time the yesterday while following my wife, that the backs are "noticeably" wider than
the fronts.
It doesn't bother me either, but it might bother others.

It's pretty normal for big power cars - even 4WD cars to run a staggered setup meaning the rear tires are wider because usually the torque split is not close to 50/50.
For me I don't want to sacrifice too much ride comfort and since the GLE350 doesn't make much power there isn't a real need for much wider tires then I would say a 275 or 285 width. Also excessively low offset such as some of the +30's I'm seeing on the forums will lead to premature hub / bearing wear...
So I just wanted to get some feedback as to what everyone's running! Good to know that hte 22's don't ride too bad, that was what I was afraid of!
Thanks

Kinda strange that the GLE63 SUV is so under tired and no available option for staggered setup:
GLE63 - 265/45/20
GLE63s - 295/35/21
GLE63 - 265/45/20
GLE63s - 295/35/21
