Volume control

Does anyone know how to control the GPS and radio volume separately?

The GPS volume is always louder than radio so if the radio station has a weaker signal, i turn up the volume and the already loud GPS gets the same volume increase.

When the GPS is speaking, adjust the volume. It will adjust the volume of the GPS but not the radio. Then when the GPS speaking stops, the radio should fade back in at the original volume. Adjusting the volume while just the radio is playing will only adjust the radio volume.
You can hit "repeat" to make the GPS repeat the last command and while it is speaking, adjust the volume.
Hope that helps.
Good luck.

I need somebody to tell me where's the volume "scale". There's no reference for exactly how high you have the volume set. Most cars have a bar the raises or lowers to provide a visual depiction of the volume setting. Without this, it's impossible to repeat a preferred volume setting.

I agree with that. I've been used to either seeing a volume bar or a volume number that I can reference when adjusting the volume on the radio.

increase navigation system volume without radio turning on

how can navigation volume be increased without the radio coming on
my son found out how to do this but he is momentarily abroad
unfortunately I hit the "werkseinstellungen" and all the logical settings are gone
Mercedes Headquarters in Stuttgart has no clue about this
why default settings always suck - because young cheap imbeciles are programming our lifes
all they care about is submitting some new useless features these dudes have never seen a vehicle
should be posted on annoyances.org

anybody here a clue?
please read before you reply ...
