Anyone Ever See First Gear?
Still in the first thousand mile break-in period so have never left Comfort Setting.
I notice that even when I'm stopped at a light,I never go below D2.
Does D1 ever come into play in Comfort setting.
And what about the other settings like Sport or sport plus?

Mine was the same in the beginning, 70% of the cases after full stop starting from 2- nd in comfort, I used sport from the beginning though. Maybe the transmission is really adaptive because now it's 99% in D1 .

I've paid attention to mine recently and it does into D1 when I come to a stop. Looks like the speedometer has to go to 0 mph and stay there for 1-2 seconds before the gear indicator switches to D1.

The trans "learns" from your driving style. Obviously you are not a hoon. If you give it a blast frequently it will go down to D1.
If you drive as you do, and occasionally try to give full throttle on a start off, you will find a pregnant pause as it selects D1 to cope with the full power start. Very nasty when you are trying to pick a gap in traffic.
Solution: When you are waiting for that traffic gap, hit the steering wheel paddles, and D! will come up ready for take off.
