Tire Preassure For GLE350???

I'm a bit confused by the multiple stickers on our car that all have different PSI recommendations. The Driver door jam states about 44psi where as the fuel filler door states 32psi. What is the recommended PSI, and what are people finding as the best PSI for MPG?

the correct specs for YOUR vehicle are on the fuel filler cover.

psi adjustments effect ride, handling, tire wear, etc.

i use the specs. good luck, ron

A gaggle of MB's
I have my techs set 38psi all around - drive that for 2 weeks - then adjust +/- 2 psi untill you find your "sweet spot".

Fuel filler door is the "official" recommendation - door jamb is manufacturing info - and max recommended tire pressure on the tires is ridiculous.

I found out that for me 36psi is the best ballance between stability and comfort, with the 20" rims at least. Have in mind that 36 psi cold means not less than 40-42 psi after driving an hour on the highway during summer. With 32psi as stated on the fuel door even without passengers the car feels extremely bouncing and in sharp turns I had the sensation that almost I'm going to scratch the rim on the road, and maybe it was not only a feeling...

34-36 psi is just about right, good balance between performance and handling. My cold and "just drove for a few minutes to the gas station" temperatures are the same. I use the numbers on the fuel door. MPG for me hasn't changed much regardless of tire pressure or comfort/sport. I average about 19mpg (mix highway/local) and ironically, after a reset I was averaging 20mpg in sport vs 19 comfort.

According to many sources, the sticker on the B pillar- the drivers door jamb- is specifically for the tires that came on the car when delivered new. A law since 2003.
The fuel filler door numbers are probably not for the specific tires that came on the car.
But - of course- there is contradictory information on this...
So, I am going with the sticker on the door jamb.

it is confusing. dealer said go with fuel door. take a look at two pics. b pillar only has max load. fuel filler has more info, but max load over 100 mph equals the b pillar.

this shouldn't be this hard. and don't get me started on Command
