Opening the doors WITHOUT the key fob
So I did a little testing tonight and attempted to open the door w/o the possession of the key fob and unexpectedly, the door opened! The alarm then went off with the lights blinking, then the honking stopped after about 20 secs. or so. I went upstairs and came back down about a min. later with the key and the lights are still blinking until i deactivated with the key fob.
So my question is is it normal that the doors can be opened WITHOUT a key fob and if so, is the alarm the way to deter the thieves? Or is there something wrong with the locking mechanism of my car? I am just wondering if any of you had a similar experience as I am now quite nervous knowing that anyone can open the doors and steal something without a key.

Did another test tonight and apparently only the rear passenger side door would open without the key fob. I was searching thru the forums and turns out some GL owners are having the same issue so I suggest everyone to do a quick check just in case. Car will be going back to the dealer again soon.
