GLE trunk emblem replacement
Does anyone have instructions or a video showing how to replace the mercedes trunk emblem? Thanks

It's just peel and stick. You can remove the old one with a hot hair blower. Goof off takes off the remaining glue.

Are u sure? The replacement emblem came with three prongs on the back and three rubber grommets for the holes in the trunk. I thought you had to push the three prongs from the inside in order to get the old emblem off.

When I had my GLK it was peel and stick. I assumed this was the same.. Sorry for any confusion.

Sounds like you ordered a 292-810-00-00-(colour code) emblem. This is for the swooping roof line coupe GLE, which has a tailgate with a camera on the emblem. You can try it off with a trim tool or similar.

That would suck. I gave mb my vin number at the parts department and thats what they ordered me. They even sold me the 3 rubber grommets to replace. 😳

2017 GLE 350 RWD SUV (Premium 1, Parking Assist Package, H-K, I regret not getting Premium 2!)
The badging (where it says GLE 43) is glued on. The Mercedes logo is snapped in. You just have to pull it out carefully and put in the new one.
