I have been frustrated with the lack of definitive information on the forums and online in general.

I cannot find a consistent answer as to which oil to use for my 2014 ML350 Bluetec.

Can anyone provide any guidance?

Open the hood and check the engine compartment, there should be a sticker telling you exactly what to use

Also read your Operator's Manual. Won't provide a specific brand, but will tell you the M-B spec. Whatever brand you choose, make sure its low ash.

Yes, there is no consistent information. Some oil is better for an engine some for DPF pick your poison. One thing is consistent change it at least twice often than recommended.

Personally I use Mobil 1 5W30 part number
001-989-37-01-USA6
Mercedes-Benz Genuine OIl for Diesel Engines
And change it every 3.5K

On another side like Peter, he uses motorcycle oil.
