Hybrid electric range less then 10 miles
We recently purchased a 2018 550e hybrid. When we bought the car the salesman claim the electric range was 18 miles. Although this is not very much we decided that local driving would be fine. Much to our surprise the car gets less than 10 miles of all electric! I am interested in what others have found. The dealership says it is our driving that is producing the less than 18 miles. I know this is not true and the battery ends its charging cycle on 13 miles! It was never, ever going to get 18!
What were you told the electric range would be? What are you experiencing for all electric mileage?

In the hybrid training class I took they did mention that closer to 10 miles is realistic, the higher numbers are possible but only in very ideal conditions, like no accessories, perfect weather, no traffic, gentle driving, etc.
