Glitchy Apple Carplay After IOS 13 Update
Is anyone experiencing issues with their Apple Carplay after updating their iPhone to IOS13?
Here are a few issues I've noticed which never occurred before updating to IOS13 on my 2018 GLE.
1. Buttons are not responsive sometimes. Have to unplug phone and reconnect to make it work again.
2. When using google maps, the screen would sometimes switch to apple's map. Need to manually switch out and open google maps.
3. When receiving text messages, it sometimes does not read the messages out. Have to replay message.
4. When using Spotify, sound does not play. Have to unplug phone, close out spotify app on phone, and reconnect.

After you have updated your iPhone to iOS13 - you need to disconnect your Phone from CarPlay - and ERASE your "original" iPhone setting from the head unit - turn head unit off - turn head unit back on - reconnect iPhone and re-pair to head unit - then you will be all to the good..
