Map update!

- technically Yes. However it took my dealer all day, something like 5 hrs. It was brutal. I know it usually takes hours but this time was way too long. I honestly would pay the sealer an extra $100 and have them do it. I had a loaner. Go do something. Someone mentioned here that if something goes wrong during the update l, it will brick 🧱 your vehicle 🚗.

- yeah I’ve seen plenty on eBay for around $50. However my service advisor says she orderers then from MB directly and it arrives in a USB thumb drive media. Not sure how this SD card would work. It’s still a mystery to me How people are doing it in 50min BUT the sealer takes hours. Don’t know if they are updating something else as well

I did my 2014 E350 through mbnavupdate, took a few days to get the USB drive. Once received, messaged through the mbnavupdate website to get the key code. Only took about 30 minutes to download the update with the car running. Pretty simple and saved $450 and a day at my local dealership.
