2016 to 2018 GLE 350 differences

Done a little searching online and just wanted to verify, other than Apple Carplay/Android Auto, are their any differences between a 2016 model year GLE 350 and a 2018 GLE 350?

I have a 2017 with CarPlay. Sorry that doesn't answer the question about a 2016.

The 2017 GLE brochure specifically mentions Apple CarPlay and shows a picture of it. The 2016 brochure has no mention of CarPlay.

Use a VIN decoder to be sure, if you are looking at buying a 2016.

There may have been some other trim/color/option changes in 2018.

My wife has a 2016, I was looking at a low mileage 2018 my local dealer got in on a lease return. The 2018 has premium 2 package, parking pilot with surround view camera and pano roof. I was wondering other than Apple Carplay/Android Auto is there anything else that separates a 2018 from a 2016 model GLE 350?

Looking in the brochures, changes for 2018 compared with 2017:

3 position memory for front passenger seat not available in 2018
9 air bags offering 11 way protection in 2018 vs 7 air bags offering 9 way protection in 2017

You could do a similar comparison by downloading the 2016 brochure.

The additional airbags in 2018 is a curious mid-cycle change.

Thanks Chassis, interesting about the airbags, for 2016 it doesn't list how many airbags but it does state 11-way airbag protection, 2016 also doesn't have the passenger 3 position seat memory. 2018 lists slightly less rear cargo space, 2018 also has the air purification as an option while 2016 does not. 2016 lists only a premium package with accompanying packages and individual options, while 2018 has a premium 1,2 & 3 packages with accompanying packages and individual options. 2018 has a 7" or 8" comand screen while 2016 is a standard 7". Other than a few color changes that is about all I can find.

otherwise all other colors carry over. A lot more wheel options for 2018 but mostly AMG variables.
