Hi, I recently got a cavansite blue MY16 GLE 500 e 4MATIC plugin hybrid with 40K miles on it to replace my MY13 ML 350. What I am noticing is that in Europe there were only limited numbers of the plugin hybrid sold and that there is little you can find about them on enthusiast forums. Being a long time Mercedes driver, the entire car feels very familiar to me but I am wondering whether there is any way to check the condition of the HV battery? Not so much range because that shows right up on the dash but more what percentage of the factory capacity the HV battery still is able to hold. Anyone here with experience in gathering said information from the car without consulting the dealer?
