Seeking Inputs - 300d Recall Impacts on Vehicle
I have a 2016 300d that I bought new. I've read about the EPA/CARB diesel recall and understand the hardware changes but have not been able to find any information about the software changes. I've corresponded with the MB customer service and their advocacy group asking for information but have gotten nothing.
I'm very reluctant to have the recall done - I've had several vehicles in the past that have been spoiled by stupid things done to address a recall.
So I'm hoping that maybe a few people here who've had the recall work done on their GLE 300d's can chime in with their experience as far as the impact of the changes on the vehicle performance/driveability.

Search this site, there have been reports of owners that have had the recall work done. I read one post that spoke highly of it, no bad effects. Best to read a number of experiences and draw your own conclusion.

Thanks, I'd done that before I posted. Didn't see any comments specific to the 300d.
