2017 GLE 350 Brake Torque Specs?
Wife's 2017 GLE-350 needs new brakes, so I plan on replacing front/rear pads and rotors, sensors. I have all the tools, correct sockets and have done the rears before, but need some specific info for completeness and correctness:
1. Torque specs on the front and rear caliper bracket bolts,
2. Torque specs front and rear caliper bolts,
3. Torx size for the center of the 13 mm rear caliper bolt,
4. Service thickness limits for the front and rear rotors?
5. Any on-line or published service manuals?
6. Can someone explain the body type designations (W166 for example)?
When I'm done I'll post a "how-to" for others. Thanks for your help!

If you want exact torque specs and rotor thickness you need a VIN because different models with different options have different specs.
Front brakes attached. Caliper bolts are specified for replacement (single time use).

Thank you so much! I was pretty close in my estimates but now I know, though it appears the caliper bolts are not as tight as I thought. I also found your write ups and extra info on the brakes and rotors on you GLE owner's thread (for anyone searching, the brake info you seek starts at #113 with more info downthread at #147)). Nice write-ups on the various DIY projects. My wife's GLE is now out of warranty so I'll be changing the oil as well.
Also, you provided the WIS. I looked around ebay and the forum for the WIS/EPC, and some of it appears "shady". Is there a source you trust, perhaps your own?
