How to swap cig lighter fuse to keep power on '18 GLE 350
Hi all:
I installed a dash cam in my truck and needed to plug into the cigarette lighter. but when i turn off the truck the cig lighter turns off and my dash cam has no power. I pulled the diagram from my fuse box in the truck and it says the fuse is in the back seat floor, fuse F-148. Question is where do i move fuse F-148 to what section of the fuse box where the power is always on. Please help. Thanks

You are better off putting in a separate circuit and outlet to bypass systems if you truly want an always on circuit. Many circuits enter sleep mode after a while and may not accomplish what you want.
FWIW I added a separate outlet for accessories in the cubby area under the main dash panel.
Wire it directly to an always hot source and add a fuse.
