Wiring information for drivers assistance, SOS and Driver info buttons by rear mirror
Hi everyone,
i have to decided to install fog lights on my 2016 GLE 350. Since my telematics are all going away in a few months… I wanted to use one of these three buttons near the rear view mirror to activate and deactivate my fog lights.
Does anyone have access to the wiring schematic for those 3 switches? I would like to share this information with my installer!

not... taping into OCP module
these are not rocker switches that can be singled out.
They are electronic switches... good luck trying to tap reliably into these circuits.
FYI: The emergency module that reads related OCP buttons, uses the car MOST fibber loop that happens to work the media system... none of this is easy or cheap to work with.
I'd try to keep your fog light circuit separate from existing car circuitry. Use a relay to keep power path short.
