2018 GLE 43 AMG stuck on Sport + Mode
Hey everyone,
I need your help about an issue that i have. My 2018 GLE 43 AMG is currently stuck on sport+ mode i was driving and for no reason it switch to sport mode. I tried to disconnect the battery wait 15-20mins reconnected back with no success. Any idea what can cause that or is there a fix i can do my self?

since you have tried disconnecting the battery and that failed to work a trip to the dealer and a hookup to STAR might be your solution. However, before that is there anyway you can test the battery and see if by any chance see if it is low?

There are a few threads on here with a similar issue. Google site:mbworld.org AMG stuck in sport mode. I just clicked on a couple of them. One was due to malfunctioning dampers and another one due to some other component failing. Basically it ended up being a dealer visit to get it resolved. Replacing the failing component that's causing AMG DYNAMIC SELECT to misbehave.

Given the vehicle age and the oddness of the symptom I would change main and aux batteries to establish a known good voltage supply. This rules out the obvious and allows Dx focus on a sensor or switch/button.
