Will the function where you touch the door handle to lock and unlock work with these?

It looks to me that the drivers door handle out of the 4 is the only one with openings in the cover that will allow access to the locking system. I would find that unacceptable as I like being able to open the car from all 4 doors...

 

on the GLE only the drivers door has opening for key. All doors have touch lock and unlock. That’s what I am concerned about.

 

Yes but there is only one opening for the touch pad and it's only on the drivers door along with the key opening. Or am I missing something?

 

it’s that little rectangle I am concerned about. The touch access on the handle itself. I had carbon fiber wrap on my old one and it did not effect it, but this stuff is a little thicker. Do you think it would make the car look cheap?

 

Your right, the touch point to unlock the door is on the handle, I had to go and take a look. My GLE43 is silver, and the carbon fiber covers wouldn't look right. If my car was a darker color I think it might look better. In my case, yes. I wouldn't put them on. But that's just my opinion....

 

I think you are correct about the looks. It’s the grey but I don’t want it to look cheap.
