Fellow GLE 550 owners
Hello Everyone,
Wondering who else out there has a GLE 550 ? (not the hybrid 550e)
If so have you done any tuning to it?
Exhaust systems etc!
I know there isnt to many of these around I dont think..

Would not recommend any tunes. The pistons are known to score the cylinder walls even on stock engines. A tune will exacerbate the premature failure of your engine.

I did not know they did a GLE550 non plug in. No chance you mean the ML550? Renntech does a tune for that. 540bhp and 700lbs. Just be mindful when you tune cars you take away from reliability and add wear and tear. I am very conservative when I do a ECU Tune on anything

not sure how many units they actually made, but these isn’t to many for sale used across Canada either.
Yeah when the warranty is up I may get a tune for it. Was looking for some real world feedback with this engine / platform but it’s looking to be harder then I thought !
