Do you have a turbo coolant reservoir?

It's there somewhere, maybe under the engine cover. The only turbo coolant circuit I've dealt with was on a client's G wagen and it was (IIRC) halfway between the grill and firewall on the right side of the engine compartment. Takes the same (Pink?) coolant as the main cooling circuit, which should be filled about a half inch over the horizontal bar you can see in the reservoir with the cap off (engine COLD). There might be the same indicator bar on the turbo circuit, but I'm not sure.
Odd that the turbo coolant circuit isn't even mentioned in the owner's manual; is there a supplemental manual that you might have for the AMG engine?

You need to pull the engine cover off and it's on the left side of the motor in front of the Oil fill cap here is a photo of it on my GLE. I removed the (2) turbo inlet ducts/Air intake boxes to gain access for sparkplugs access you DO NOT need to remove the (2) outer ducts/filter boxes just disconnect the middle air ram duct only. Maybe you don't need to remove the middle air duct since it can flex a bit for you to gain access to the reservoir. Be careful on removing the engine cover. I snapped one on the rear left.

Now the question is where did this coolant go?

I mean closed system held in check by tank pressure relief caps...
SO in theory if pressure was too great it could vent out some "steam" over time and get low but I dunno...

I notice on mine the tank had the dry up coolant around on top at the filler neck. So make sure both your caps are on tight and in good working order.
