2017 GLE 350 Radiator Replacement?
Hey, I have a radiator leak at the top mount area, so radiator needs to be replaced. Dealer wants stupid money to replace it. It looks like a DIY with plenty of room, but has anyone done it, any videos? Was told the A/C must be drained and refilled? Thanks!

Haven't done a GLE 350 but did a GL63 which was super tight and a total PIA. The gas 350 seems to have much more room. Are you talking about the gas or diesel 350?

No, I was able to move everything out of the way. From memory, the 350 has tons more room and looks like it shouldn't be too bad. On the 63, had to remove the fan housing, oil cooler lines, disconnect the transmission coolant lines, and other coolant lines. Was an absolute PIA to get the radiator to piggyback with the one behind it. Needed my wife to help me for around 10 minutes after I struggled with it for a few hours. Not sure if you need two people on the 350 but you definitely need it on the 63 to help align everything.
I purchased a $100 radiator on Ebay and it's worked great ever since. Has to be better than the POS stock radiator so I don't recommend buying OEM.
