I own a 2017 GLE43 and since 2 months ago I've realised it sags a little. Is does not go down to the floor but looks lower definitely. I¨ve checked the air bags but the look good, My mechanic used Xentry and it says there is a leak somewhere between the compressor and the valve block. He found a very tiny leak on the valve block, he tightened the air hose and it was OK, but the system contoinues to say there is a leak. He tried to calibrate the suspension using Xentry but it is still kind of low. Sometimes there is a gap difference (half an inch) but some others less than that. The car drives good and feels good. Any ideas? Should I continue driving?

1. Fix the leak and continue owning the car
2. Fix the leak and sell the car
3. Don’t fix the leak, keep driving and see what happens

I guess the confusion lies in my poor choice of words, MB uses ABC to indicate Active Body Control but I meant Air Body Control, other vehicles call it Airmatic, it is a slightly different system.

Massively different system. One is insanely expensive to own while the other is not too bad. ABC uses a hydraulic pump, lines, dampeners, control blocks in front and back, lines in, lines out, and electronics to make it work. Airmatic is relatively inexpensive and reliable. Just call it Airmatic and not ABC suspension. Some Airmatic cars do have a type of active body control like on my GL63 but it is not an ABC suspension - thank goodness. Loved my Airmatic cars and loathed ABC. The only thing it did well is prevent body roll around curves and heavy braking. That's it, really. MB ditched the system as it was overly problematic.

Not really.. I want to enjoy my GLE for a longer period of time, unfortunately it is experiencing this issue with the suspension. I think it's a minor thing, otherwise I won't be able to even drive it. In this moment I can't afford an expensive reapair, so I hope nothing else goes wrong with it.

Looks a bit low, I mean since you have no intention to repair it and the goal is actually selling it, might not be a bad idea to think of the bright side... people actually want to lower the vehicle by intention for a sportier look, now you get that look for free!
