Torque Converter Service?
Hey guys, so on today’s episode lol….
i basically did my transmission service about 35k ago, and I never did the torque converter fluid flush / change.
I can’t really find much info on if this is should be even done or how to even do it? Any info would be appreciated as always 😁🙏🏻
2019 GLE400 (9G Transmission). Also are there different variants of the 9G? Or all the 9G take the same transmission fluid?

If you got it done on a dealer ask if they did the torque converter drain. Majority of the time they will say "NOT NEEDED" then tell nicely you know there is a bolt for it and check to see if your car has it. If it has it they are obligated to do it properly if they are a mercedes-benz dealer as they are charging you for something they have not done and they can get in trouble with that. If your car has the bolt and they did not do it, do not go back there again and look for a specialist who does MB and get it done right.
