LED Mercedes Star Projectors - GLE43 Coupe
To anyone who has the 2017 GLE43 Coupe, are the star projectors on the bottom of the exterior rearview mirrors standard? I just noticed they added this feature to the website as an "option". This was just added in the last day or so.
I just noticed it says, "For the exit lamps in the side doors." Is this at the bottom of the doors? Is this something different than the projectors at the bottom of the rearview mirrors? I'm confused.
Thanks!

Thats strange. I didnt think there were any mirror packages available on the GLE line at all.
The only external lighting package I am aware of is the lighting package for the optional side running boards (excluding the headlight package of course).

Just spoke with MB Customer Support. This is a "new" feature. It projects the star from the bottom of the doors. The rearview mirror projectors are completely separate and standard equipment, as confirmed by all who responded. So if you order this option, you'd have "four" separate stars projected on the ground. I told the CS Rep this is a bit of an overkill. She agreed.

It is separate option code 15A - adds the LED projectors from/below each door - $200 - requires Premium 2 or Premium 3 package - cannot be added to GLC with no-Premium and/or cannot be added to P1 GLC300
