GLE 43 AMG Coupe Fuel Economy
Hello Guys,
My car will arrive in 2 months from the US and I would like to know
your feedback regarding the real fuel consumption for the gle 43 amg coupe.
My friends told me that it should avg 10-12 l/100 km(comfort mode)
I would like to know your avg consumption also if available.
Many thanks,
Mike

Out Of Control!!
If you are concerned about AMG fuel consumption, I would suggest you redirect the car to Venezuela, the gas is good quality and under a buck a gallon!

Sorry but I am not a fan of South America, I would opt for the middle east (more action happening there) ))
I am not concerned about fuel consumption, I just wanted to know the real avg fuel economy as the producer figures are not even close to reality

I drove n MKZ hybrid before getting my GLE 43 coupe.
It use to be a game for me to see how high I could get my mpg (43).
Those skills carried over to the '17 GLE coupe.I average a little over 23 mpg.

I always laugh when people ask me, "What kind of mileage do you get?" If I cared about mileage, I would never have bought a 5,000 lb tank with 22" wheels and all-the-time all-wheel drive.

Thanks Jester for the info :-)
@Sube
Well here in Eastern Europe we pay 2.5 times the price you get in the USA for a gallon, if we had your prices probably no one would bother asking... (although I am not complaining about that).
I just asked in order to find out the real mpg consumption.

However, it was hard for us to make the jump to a gasser. We have had diesel vehicles forever. Our Coupe is replacing a VW Touareg, which AVERAGED around 24MPG, and could get up to 28 EASILY on long trips. Hit 29 on one long trip.
With almost 4000 miles on ours, we are averaging 17.1. I'm actually pretty happy with that. Wife drives it more than I do, and she gets a LOT better fuel economy than I do. It doesn't do well when I drive it for some reason, especially when she's NOT in the car.
For more information, go to Fuelly.com, and look at the Coupes and AMG 450's there. I've found that to be a pretty reliable long term indicator of what to expect. Not a lot of data on our AMG's, however. There's only 3 vehicles over there right now, so it's not the greatest sampling size:

http://www.fuelly.com/car/mercedes-benz/gle450_amg (only 3 here as well)
Then again, the site is not necessarily geared towards people that don't "care" about fuel economy...
