Any tips for removing the star on the pop out camera?

Any tips for removing the star on the pop out camera?
Hey all,
In the process of swapping all the emblems, I have removed the rear star on other models which were the 3 pin in the center style.
Any tips for this one, the edge is very tight and I don't want to break the camera cover off.

I'm not sure about the star, but I removed my badging with a fishing line and Goo Gone to get rid of the left over adhesive. I would image the star is also being held on by this adhesive given how the camera does pop out.

Thanks, I did the same with the badging except I used rubbing alcohol instead of goo gone.
I got the star off today, ended up popping the cap off the rear camera cover to do it.
The star has the 3 center pins plus 2 face tape along the outer circle.

For sure, thanks for the info! Though popping that cap out sounds like a real "Don't mess this up moment" lol I remember the first time I took the covers off my mirrors to replace the LED. Oh, the LOUD cracks >.<
