why is 2016-2019 gl3 amg 63s so expensive compared to bmw x6 m?!?

why is 2016-2019 gl3 amg 63s so expensive compared to bmw x6 m?!?
comparing year to year, mileage to mileage 2016-2019 bmw x6m vs mercedes amg gle 63s, the mercedes on average $10k-$15k more expensive. It is ridiculous.
the gle 63s still using very old interior and lack couple of options like head-on display et cetera yet commanding up to $15k more expensive than the faster better performing bmw x6m
Anyone know why this is or is this some craziness going on somewhere?

I think maybe the better question to ask is why does the x6m lose so much value so quickly?
IMO, AMGs actually depreciate in value quite fast compared to more value oriented vehicles.

still did not answer my question though
average price for 2015-2019 bmw x6m is $45/50k-$55/60k and for 2016-2019 amg gle 63s is $60/65-$70/75k
that is ridiculous price difference and i must be missing the reason why
i think a forum is best way to get answer to reason why
so please help me explain

The AMG is overall better - my 2015MY X5M had so many issues, I was at the service center all the time. I put more miles on loaner cars than the X5M. BMW bought it back 5 months later.
I've had AMG's since and I only go when I need service. AMG offers a better product than BMW ///M.
You get the X6M if you want sheer speed - you get the GLE if you want refinement and a cruiser for any situation.

I used to be a die hard BMW ///M fanboy, but after having problems after problems with everything, for me, they weren't worth the premium you're paying, compared to AMG.

did you get warranty on it?
any advice on if warranty or not and which ones?
also what are the main issues of the car
honestly when it comes to performace the bmw x6m is better but i am not a mercedes guy..but this is only car i like better than bmw in comparison
i really love the front and side view of the car and overall look..the back could be better but the front and side make up for it
i think it is more eye-catchy than the x6m side by side...which is why am thinking of it over the x6m at the moment

i am leaning towards it but the price difference is a very big deterrent
i used to own the 2010 bmw m5 and it was one awesome car..so much fun to drive and the feel was awesome but the repair cost was crazy
which is why am thinking of doing a warranty for the next car

lol..thats crazy...yeah i prefer it over the x6m off the looks only...it is more attractive looking than the x6m side by side...but everything else i will take x6m over it

As for the prices of the GLE's, they are way overpriced and most sit for a very long time and go through many price reductions. Most of the ones I was looking at close to a year ago seem to still be available. The only ones that sold were exceptionally good deals.

i mean they make the X6M look like a base model car, still not understanding what the heck is going on...even KBB value is co-signing the crazy prices too
