I had an order for a gls580 originally from canada. You all know how that went. I put in order for a GLE53, pretty much the same spec as yours. I have not heard back from the dealer on timing yet, but I chose the massage seats so I expect it in the new year maybe Jan/Feb

I was slumming in the Service Lounge at Naperville Mercedes and a guy came in with a new GLE53. A couple of us guys started a conversation with him and he explained everything that's changed from the GLE43 to the GLE53. i thought it was the same 3.0L with more boost but it's a new engine. I love the interior but the wheel arches make me gag unless they are the painted AMG wheel arches. BTW, did they get rid of the standard halogen lamps? They were terrible.

All GLEs now come with full standard LED headlights & taillights, regardless of trim.

Nice build. Why no exterior lighting?
