Ah, didn't really understand your question. Depends on the specific model. The AMG GLE standard system is supposed to be a lower end Burmester system, and the optional one is the High-End 3D system.

You should post in the correct section. This is the GLE section. As far as I know the GLC63 and C63 have the Burmester Surround Sound System as standard in the USA, so no idea what they replaced it with.

I don't think there's much of a loss, not getting the base Burmester. It's somewhat disappointing in its sound.
I'd be really disappointed if they didn't put in an ordered 3D High End Burmester, though. THAT would be a deal-breaker.
Edit- seeing @slk55er 's pics, it looks like you get an A-post tweeter, which the base Burmester left out (on our '21). Maybe the non-upgrade is better than the base Burmester? Wouldn't be hard....

Truly an amazing stereo. Way better than the B&O was in my old S7 from 2017. I’m no audiophile and ymmv. You do lose the sunglass overhead storage for a speaker though.
