2021 GLE53 - Transmission Issues

Hello. Returning forum member here after 10 years away from Benz.
I spec’d out / ordered a 2021 GLE53 that was delivered 7 months ago. Since I brought it home I have noticed a slight transmission thump /thud when slowing down to a stop sign or red light (always when in Comfort- automatic). Looking at the HUD it is when the car downshifts from 3rd to 2nd gear. After about 30 days I asked the dealer about it and they said the car is learning my driving style and give it 1,000 miles (ummm ok?). Car now has 7k on it and continues to have same issue so I took it in to be looked at. Service technician found metal shavings in transmission, sent pictures to engineering team in Germany, and local dealer was told a new transmission and torque converter were being shipped to be installed next week. Has anyone else had this issue? Hoping this fixes the issue. Comments welcome

2023 GLE 53
Hi I’m from Ecuador , mi GLE 53 AMG SUV since 7.000 klm is giving me same issues in slow traffic it’s also giving me issues from 0 klm speed increasing very slow speed and turning all the wheels as I’m making kind of a turn around and suddenly the transmission , electric motor or engine don’t know what’s exactly happening, but the car is trembling all, while doing this Normal maneuver.
now it’s 10.000 trying again, reporting and trying to explain again the dealer to see how they can solve this matter, won’t like to have a part broken with my new car.
