No 3D Burmeister Option GLE 63S 2023?!?!?!

No 3D Burmeister Option GLE 63S 2023?!?!?!
Just placed an order for a 2023 GLE 63S, got every option except High End 3D, after looking at build sheet and following up with my SA, he contacted the factory and was told that High End 3D is NOT an option for 2023 for any GLE? Is this serious? I hate the base burmeister and the high end 3d is a deal breaker. One of the reasons I'm upgrading from my 53 is because it doesn't have the high end 3D.
Can anyone give some insight into this and to possible solutions? Attached order guide. When you look at the rest of the packages order guide, it shows that High End 3D is available for GLE63W4S, but apparently the factory says it's not.

The only solution is to wait another year and see if it gets put back for 2024 or search the nation for a 2022 with it.
I was like you wanting this very badly. I placed an order for a 2023 dead set on getting it only to be disappointed that it wasn’t available. I still placed the order. Well, fast forward two weeks later and my constant dealership checking paid off as I found a 2022 that just showed up 100 miles away. I called and was able to get it without a crazy markup as well. It was 5/22 build and I picked it up the second day it hit the dealer lot. Very happy. The high-end 3D Burmester is awesome.

BMW vs MB sound system
I was wondering if anyone has listened to the diamond bowers and Wilkins system in the BMW? It seems like BMW upgraded sound option. I was also really looking forward to getting the upgraded burmeister system on my AMG 53, super disappointed that it’s not going to be offered. I’m seriously thinking about getting a BMW X5 M501. Would love your thoughts on this.

I have, although I only heard the Bowers on a long test drive, while I own the Burmester 3D. They’re both awesome.
The Bowers, to me, sounded more bright on the high end, and it was louder at lower volume levels, which I actually like. I feel like I have to really crank the volume on my Burmester vs the Bowers. However, the Bowers got kind of harsh and “tinny” as the volume went up while I can blast the Burmester to full volume with all its grand glory. I’m sure the Bowers can be adjusted and tuned better, as I didn’t spend much time adjusting it. The subwoofer is better in the Burmester, but the mid bass sounded better in the Bowers.
I’m really nitpicking here as they’re both superb and it is subjective. I would suggest taking a test drive in both and spend a lot of time listening. It’s worth it.
Btw, I finally settled on a Burmester setting. Bass: 6 or 7, Mid: 0, Treble: 1, 3D sound setting, VIP: All. I listen mainly to classic rock.

I’m not sure if it will make much of a difference. Low frequencies aren’t affected by obstructions nearly as much as higher frequencies. That’s why line-of-sight isn’t typically that important for subwoofers versus say tweeters.

The Cayenne Burmester is a good choice. So is the car.

2022 AMG GLE63S
I have the same compaint about the high-end Burmester system being gone as an option. I ordered my GLE 53 last December; I am currently slated for a November, 2022 build. Once my build slipped to 2023 model, I, like you-was "toast" because this option was eliminated for 2023.

I’m extremely satisfied with the 3D upgrade! Sound crisp and clean. Deep bass tones. Recommend listening to Kendrick Lamar’s “Rich Spirit.” I think I listened to it on repeat about 6 times! Definitely impressed!

IMO the Burmester is stellar for all types of music, loud or soft, which is the mark of a good sound system.
