22" Wheels Getting any Damage
Ultimately trying to decide if getting wheel and tire protection is warranted for the 22's? I know it would be worthwhile on the Corvette ZO6's and would easily pay for itself... ask me how I know

When it comes to cosmetic damage, it’s not worth it one way or the other, unless you constantly travel on gravel roads and have black wheels.

None, here in San Diego we have some of
the crappiest roads around and ive had zero issues with damage.

The road repairs they make here are often worse than the potholes themselves.
I know our tires on the GLE AMG don’t last long which is par for the course having been in several Cayenne Turbo’s since 2005. Never had wheel damage or dents in those which were 21” so it seems I would have to have at least two tires get trashed (or a wheel and tire) over the life of a plan of 6+ years for it to pay for itself.
BTW - Highline and MJourdan here on MBWorld offer great pricing on plans for those interested. Great guys to work with based on my experience. In my case the 6yr plan is under $2k (7yr is available) but I rarely keep a car more than 4 years (baring a pandemic and historic car shortage. It’s really just insurance and a resale offering to spice up the deal for the next owner of the vehicle. On my ZO6 a wheel plan would have paid for itself easily and that car only has 9k miles on it since I got it new and it has never seen rain or poor conditions. The AMG will see all conditions but I’m told a plan can be purchased at anytime since there is no mileage restriction from original purchase.
