Ceramic Brakes on GLE63

Looking for feedback from owners of 2021+ GLE63's that have the ceramic brake option. How is brake feel? Do they squeak? Would you order them again? Any other feedback (positive or negative) on them?

Many thanks in advance for your feedback!

I would have ordered them had they been available in the front/rear and could have had them in red. Really no point just being in the front and stuck with the "orange chicken" caliper color which really doesn't go with any color scheme you can get in the car or outside the car. If you don't care about the caliper color the only advantage I see would be less brake dust in the front. I would venture to say there is a less than five percent take rate on them. Just my opinion.

I’m curious about this as well. Also, is the life expectancy of them greater than standard pads and if so how much?

I put ceramic brake pads on my W166 GLE63. I had to change out the metallic pads at 14K miles along with sensors. The brake dust was total BS. I bought the pads and sensors from Rock Auto and had Star European in Yorkville change them. I have 24K and the pads are holding up just fine when I had Star change the oil last week. The added bonus is minimal brake dust. I know it's not a W167 but the results have to be similar. You can see in the photo the wheels are staying clean. I don't remember the cost but it wasn't crazy.

Thanks for the feedback....the ceramic pads you put on....did they squeak at all? And, how was the "brake feel"? Mushy? Grabby?

Thx again!

Did not squeak or grab. They felt as good as the metallic pads. Zero complaints. I didn't mention the sensors on the metallic pads didn't trigger the dash warning even though it appeared they contacted the rotors on the rear.

Anyone find pads that will work for the W167 GLE 63S?

Love that color! I almost bought one but milage just off lease was stupid high. Settled for a 2019 with 14K miles on it in the Lunar Blue with Expresso Designo leather
Lowered on Links?
Wheel size?
