These probably apply to recent vehicles without MBUX as on my 2019 CLS53 and to those with MBUX as on my 2022 GLE53:

2019 CLS53 (no MBUX)
- Close all doors, hood & trunk
- Turn on Ignition to Position 1 & wait for all displays to complete
- On the left-side of the steering wheel, press HOME/BACK
- On the TOUDH PAD, scroll to and press TRIP
- Scroll the TRIP display to show odometer info including total miles
- Hold HOME/BACK button for 3 seconds, then…
- While continuing to hold HOME/BACK, press TOUCH PAD
- Workshop Menu should appear
- Release HOME/BACK button and TOUCH PAD
- Scroll with TOUCH PAD to VEHICLE DATA and press
- Scroll down from 12V to 48V info to see % Charge & Battery info
- Press HOME/BACK to return to VEHICLE DATA & to see ASSIST PLUS
- Use ASSIST PLUS to reset SERVICE with ignition on to Position 2
- Press HOME/BACK to return to TRIP & other displays


2022 GLE53 (with MBUX)
- Close all doors, hood & trunk
- Turn on Ignition to Position 1 & wait for all displays to complete
- On the left-side of the steering wheel, scroll the TOUCH PAD left or right to highlight both the left and right displays such as tachometer and speedometer in the screen in front of the driver. (This allows the center display to be changed.)
- Press HOME/BACK to show display options
- Scroll left or right with the TOUCH PAD to TRIP and press to select TRIP
- Scroll the TRIP display up and down to show odometer info including total miles
- Simultaneously, hold the HOME/BACK button and the TOUCH PAD for 3 seconds & release
- Press HOME/BACK to show display options
- Scroll to far left with TOUCH PAD to show Workshop Menu
- Press TOUCH PAD to select Workshop Menu
- Scroll with TOUCH PAD to VEHICLE DATA and press
- Scroll down from 12V to 48V info to see % Charge & Battery info
- Press HOME/BACK to return to VEHICLE DATA to see ASSIST PLUS
-Use ASSIST PLUS to reset SERVICE with ignition on to Position 2
- Press HOME/BACK to return to TRIP & other displays
