So I got catless downpipesand stage two tune. Moves like all hell. Turbo whistle is awesome. But the damn thing just sounds like it has an exhaust leak. It doesn’t but it had a weird kind of uneven exhaust note. Almost like a tractor. And it’s a bit too loud for my liking for a daily driver. It was great under heavy load and higher rom but low load it was miserable.
I added an x-pipe and two hollow core mufflers so I doubt there’s any significant increase in restriction.
Much smoother. Reminds me of oem sound level- ish, which is awesome for a 5500lb suv that is probably creeping around 800hp. No rasp and again, a smooth exhaust note .

Sounds good. Been thinking of doing the Eurocharged stage 1 tune. Sad that California only has 91 octane so it loses 30hp....but should still be a big improvement.

It's hard to capture accurately on a phone, but it's perfect for a daily driver. Or at least as good as I could ask for without valves. I don't want to hear my exhaust on highway cruise.
If you remove cats, you should DEFINITELY add an X-pipe. If you want loud, don't install the two mufflers I did. Or do shorter ones.
IMO, just removing the cats sounded pretty bad unless it was high load and high RPM. Part throttle and low rpm were awful.
