2023 AMG GLE 53 Coupe windshield
Hi all
i just got my windshield fixed since it was making a whistling noise. But I noticed that the rubber seal between the top of the windshield to the roof slowly disappears towards the middle and then reappears on the passenger side. Anyone noticed the same on their car? I’m wondering if I need to bring it back to the dealer for them to line up the rubber better. Thanks all!

Here's a YouTube video from PCA about windshields. Its way too long but if you start at 48:30 they talk about what to look for after a windshield installation.
They talk specifically about the trim piece you posted about.

IDK if MB and Porsche trim is the same (I think it is), so I don't know if I'd hold a MB installer accountable for differences until I knew more.
There's a lot of other info on the video, like how adhesives and glass have changed over the years.
I found it when I had a star, and wanted to try an OTC windshield repair kit. Which was pretty successful BTW.

the whistling noise is gone but now the wiper blade arms looks a bit higher than before I brought it into the shop. They said it’s the lowest they can set it..I guess it’s fine since I don’t see the blades when I am inside the car driving
