Exclusive Napa feels better, I think partly because of the diamond stitching. I can still smell leather after two years. The texture is improving with use, as leather should. It's pricey but worth it, especially if you appreciate leather.
I don't think the literature shows the luster well. Mine-
There's the Nappa leather, the exclusive nappa leather, and the excluisve nappa leather with diamond stitch which is what you have @mikapen . The exclusive nappa upgrade doesn't make the seats any different but it makes the rest of the interior like door pannels, upper door trim, upper and lower dashboard trim, console, etc. get upgraded from soft but grained MB-Tex to soft and super smooth and rich feeling Nappa leather. A worthwhile upgrade to me, but may be pointless for $1,500 or so, The diamond stitch upgrade is another $250 and in theory the seats mya be a tad softer but it's just a different stitch pattern really. Bit it's only available in black and beige, while the non diamon stitch can be in black, red, brown, or now beige too.
You'd have to sit on both (diamond or not) to see which feels better.
I was really pleased at the dash and other surfaces being covered. Bonus.
For me, though, the diamond stitching conforms to the body better, and is a lot more comfortable. Pressure points and all that, I guess.
I sat in a GLS on the showroom with the Diamond before ordering, and after gagging a while on the price, I decided that both the car and I deserved it. It's very nice - kind of like Old School leather.

This is correct
and there is no longer a MB Tex seat option for 24, they come standard with Nappa leather now (hence the large increase in base MSRP).
