I dont own calipers....didn't realize that's something everyone carries. It shouldn't be a difficult question to answer for those who have already modified there exhaust. If you don't like the question move tf on.

when u say u hear more turbo whistle is that coning when u drive 25mph plus? Mine is also making a whistle kind of noise but i have no idea what that noise is, it sounds more like a blowing noise please advise
Well, I just had the exhaust shop cut the rear muffler off my GLE63s. They replaced the muffler with 3" pipe that looks great. I was worried it would be too loud but it sounds PERFECT. The exhaust is SOOOO much deeper and rumbly. You can also hear the turbo whistles so much more.
Driving in normal mode the car just sounds meaner but not loud. It's just slight louder than stock when cruising. However, when you get on the throttle, it has a wonderful deep growl. The exhaust pops are also so much more obvious. I'm so glad I did it and did not wait.
Just got back from cutting mine off and the car pops and bangs like crazy. I was scared to do it based on that one guy in this thread that went into limp mode, but all you have to do is not touch the valve actuators unless you have the renntech passthrough mod installed. Cost me $200, but I didn’t try to haggle with the guy or shop around.
I took some high-ish quality recordings of the before and after with sound. I’ll post them later this week!
I just got my muffler delete, and I’m not sure why no one does it this way (photos described). I can still have the valve flap functioning as u can see…(keep your existing valve pipe and ADD A DUAL V PIPE ADAPTOR)…
