Potential 2021 GLE 63s Owner
Hello everyone,
as my username suggests, I’m thinking of purchasing a 2021 GLE 63s and thought I could get the opinions of the best and brightest on it.
I’m upgrading from Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 and want to get into something that’s faster and more refined.
I’m looking at a pre-owned (non CPO) with 22k miles on it which has the below options. Any thoughts on 2021 vs newer models? Are there any reliability issues that I should keep in mind?
The current car I’m looking at is $90k which is slightly below market, but it’s not a steal.

Looks like a light spec to me. I prefer a lot of options on a vehicle like this. Looks like it's missing: HUD (head up display), trailer hitch, soft close doors, heated rear seats, 4-zone climate control, acoustic comfort package and a few more. If you haven't already you need to research and know all the options that come with the 63. I've compromised on cars a few times that didn't quite have what I wanted and always ended up regretting it. I don't do that anymore. You should have at least almost two years of factory warranty left. If it's from and MB dealer I would have them certify the car as that way you get an extra year of warranty with the option to purchase two more.

I think that because that vehicle has the Burmester Sound Pkg, it won't have a spare tire - if that matters to you. For me Distronic is a must, which this one has.
I bought mine as a CPO with 5,100 miles about 15 months ago. Except that none of the smartphone app features would work until I took in to a dealer's service department for reprogramming, I've had zero issues with it.
Keep in mind that as far as I can find there are ZERO snow chains that will fit on those tires.
