Engine Oil
2019 Gle63s, is 5W-40 Liqui Molly or 5W-30 Better for the M157’s ? Any difference on it. Manual says to only put 5w-40 or 0w-40 but been told 5w-30 Long time tech is good. Anyone have an experienced opinion on it. Thanks in advance

either work fine it's up to your temp for where you live but for 99% of people it won't matter
oil thinning on 40 vs 30 isn't really an issue, there is nothing the 5w30 will give you over the 40. But in the most extreme desert environments you're not to use 5w30 because it'd get thin enough to cause an oil pressure drop, thats about it.
Oil condition > minor viscosity changes > brand (unless it's Amsoil obviously)

I'm running 5W-40 Liqui Molly but I'm in Florida. It's noticeably quieter than the 0w-40.
