Seeking some Information GLE63 vs GLE63s

Hello All,
As a proud owner of an E55 AMG, I decided to get another AMG.
I am debating between a GLE 63 and a GLE 63s.
So, I am seeking some clarification on them. 2016-2018.
What is the Difference between the GLE 63 and the GLE 63s.?
I am told just the exhaust, but after spending sometime reading here, it seems not to be the case.
Can anyone help me cut down on my reading, please.?

Should I hold my ground and ONLY get the S version or get the Non-S version and tune it.?
Thoughts and thank you all so much.

Visually, there are several differences. The "S" version will have red calipers, an "S" badge on the back, a carbon fiber engine cover, a red line around the tach and speedometer and a slight tune that makes an extra 27 hp. I believe the S also has an extra oil cooler. The engines themselves are the same. The difference in performance is very minor. Most car reviews show the S being 0.1 second faster. As for tuning, you can tune either car with Eurocharged or Renntech to be around 700hp. So, I think it depends on what you want to do with car and what deal you can get on either car.

Good luck with your search.

And I think the Brabus setup is 800hp.

h.
No difference in the exhaust. The optional Sport Exhaust is avaialble on each model. There are no swithable muffler valves on either. The S has a freer flowing setup.

Hello All,
Thank you all for the great information and the differences between them. I am currently the proud owner of a 2018 GLE63 AMG.
I opted for it due to the miles and condition of it.
It does have the Sport Exhaust as well, with multiple options that I am very happy with.
I have been combing the forums and learning more about the GLE AMG's and all the little things about it.
Ironically, I just got the brake light come on and I checked the pads to find one of the fronts low, so new pads are on the way as is new rotors as well.
Still, thank you all again for all of your help and if anyone has a sticky for any DYI info or stuff, I would greatly appreciate that as well.
Fellow owners helping other fellow owners is what the community is all about. Back in the day with my E55, I found this forums of great help as well.
Great job all and thank you.
Stephen
