Wiring Question - Seeking Info

Hello All,
As a proud new owner of a 2018 GLE63 AMG, I wanted to hard wire my Valentine Rader. So, taking a few pieces apart to find very easy access underneath the Driver Side compartment. Yes, under the steering wheel by the gas and brake pedals, I found so much room and an unused 4 pronged Green Female Connector. I could tap it, after probing with a Test Light for power, but I wanted to ask first if anyone knows what this Unused Green Female Connector is for.? Or does anyone have a wiring diagram for the compartment.? Or does anyone have a better idea. I did run the wire up and around already and plan on adding the remote mount or concealed remote as well.

Thoughts anyone.?

Thank again,
Stephen

It might be brake trailer controller. Was near OBD2 port and does it look like this?

Yes Sir, that's it. You think it is for a brake controller for a trailer.?

Looking at it, on my car, it was looped and looked like it was almost on the firewall on the back left part of the firewall. Behind the OBD port, like neatly tucked in a loop and pushed to the way back, close to the firewall.

For the record, I do have a trailer hitch, but I have not looked at the hitch yet or under it. I will this week, it's been a busy few weeks and I just have not had the chance.

If that is the connector, as you say, then I can tap off of it with no issues.

Thank you in advance. Does anyone have a wiring diagram?

I believe MB does that for all vehicles with towing option.
